how did u first find out about Anandtech (not just forums) ?

I used to check Anandtech main site all the time but for some reason thought the forums would be empty... then one day toekramp told me the forums were full of you people, so i came by.

My brother told me about it when I wanted to build my 1st computer and needed to find a motherboard that was good. Found the AOpen AX6BC 440BX to go with my 400 MHz Celeron from AnandTech's review and it never disappointed me.

I was watching someone look at hardware reviews on Anandtech back in high school, so either 99 or 2000. I didn't know there were forums here until 2001 but I'm not all that active even since I found out.

It just was. Long ago I was grappling with cooling problems on my K6-2 550. I was magically bestowed with the knowledge of Anandtech.com

I never did resolve the cooling issues - I swapped it out with a K6-2 300 😉

How did I find the forums? FS/FT. I wanted to sell some crap. I succeeded at moving exactly 1 item.
