This is wierd:
In the recently published tests of many 865 and 875 motherboards they tested msi neo2-fis2r 865PE which i have and they used the same memory as i have but in smaller size, they 2*256, me 2*512. they used 3.2Ghz 800fsb, i have 2.8Ghz 800fsb.
they said to use MAT technology you had to change performance in bios to ultra turbo and apparently they succeded in that and the scores where good. When i change from slow to ultra turbo and save and exit my monitor shuts off, then when the comp starts again my monitor also turns on but not in ultra turbo. Monitor off and i hear the cpu works but cant see any error message or anything obviously, so i have no choice than to hardware reset 2 times then bios automaticly sets performance to "slow" and everything boots up as normal.
I wonder why they succeded and not me, they have a little better processor and video card thats all. I dont know about what bios version they used i think its v1.3 and i this morning I got the latest bios thru liveupdate also v1.3.
Anyone with Neo2-fis2r 865pe that knows or maybe some comp. skilled person might know?
