some of the outdoor areas in twilight princess look like there aren't really separately made textures... it looks more like the artists painted directly onto surfaces.

does anyone have info about how Twilight Princess was made or about the general concept of "painting" based 3D modeling?

This thread is now about corn.
You're an asshole, but now I'm tempted to post about corn...

This comment has made me laff. Hard enough to shoot corn kernels out of my nose? Hardly. But it was a good laff.

yeah corn is good. but when they harvest the corn and takes it to the dryers (silo's etc) it makes a fricken mess. you get little white specs flying around. it makes a mess of everything. i had to buy a power washer to keep my house and car clean.

Maize is sometimes used as a biomass fuel, such as ethanol .

the disturbing thing about this is the amount of organic waste involved. the leaves and stalks of the corn plant account for the majority of its mass, but are waste in the current ethanol production strategies. More research on how to produce the corn WASTE into fuel is necessary, to make corn production an ecologically neutral process.

Anyone who's ever driven through Iowa or Indiana can attest to the scope of this.
