Does this entire OT forum even get 2 million unique hits in 6 months?

A single thread getting that many?

Someone actually ran a script on a few computers set to constantly refresh the page. It slowed down the forums tremendously for several hours.

At one time, views were not unique hits. They are now. Some asshat was running a refresh script to rack up the views. It always slowed down the forums.

only 2,000 views
with 7,000 posts



2nd most views thread I saw is the anime one that's one year old with 25,000 views

That's because views were only counted until recently. If it's been going on for 4 years it got way more posts before views were being counted.

You said 2 million to the forum, not an individual post. This forum most definately hits 2 million viewers every 6 months, if not every month.

That's because views were only counted until recently. If it's been going on for 4 years it got way more posts before views were being counted.

That view count is bs anyways, I once tested going into a thread, back to the list of threads, and then back into the thread and it only moved once. Maybe I don't quite understand the definition of a view.
