How did someone get into my iPhone 5 without my passcode?

Someone had physical access and was able to browse my photos, see my call log, make a call from it, and email from it. But this person claims to not have known or guessed my password.

How is such a thing possible?

Were you unable to have this person show (prove) how they did it?

They won't tell me and claim they did not just "guess" my password. I suppose it's possible I left it unlocked when I feel asleep but I always lock it up and have a short time out window. I can't figure it out.

sounds like you fail at OPSEC. Learn how to deal with low life people you have around you.

There's a way to get past the passcode in ios8 if you plug it in to charge, open up siri, ask it a question and stop it midway. There's a few videos on youtube.

Thanks for replies so far guys. So basically there is no "easy" way. Either this person guessed my password or I left it unlocked. This person is NOT technical btw so it would be nothing super complex.

As mentioned, there's a bypass with Siri on lock screen. If you leave command open and then pop out SIM card with Wifi disabled, possible to gain access to email. But this current bypass didn't mention anything about making phone calls. So just disable Siri from lock screen and you'll be fine until Apple patches.
