How did I do?

Took my Dremel and a reinforced cutoff wheel to the top of my SilverStone SG03. Here are the results:

After cutting w/ the Dremel, I took a sanding bit and smoothed the rough edges. Accidentally pushed too hard on one side of the hole and there's a small indent where it happened. The C-strip covers up that boo boo.

Looks good, I think you may want to remove the mesh unless dropping things on top is commonplace. It will collect dust on the inside that won't be easy to clean.

Bravo!! I've cut and Modder-meshed enough similar holes that I can tell you -- great job. Really.

Looks good. I like whatever those fasteners are. They go well with the case.

What's next on the list of things to mod? 😉

Thanks for the comments so far guys.

Nothing else planned so far. I have thought about replacing the stock mesh on the side panel with a window, but since the PSU sits in front of it a window wouldn't really show much.

It took almost an hour to finish the hole with my Dremel. After cutting and sanding the hole, it only took a few minutes to put the grill, fan, washers and screw covers on.

I'm seen that before, you can basically dock an internal 3.5" HDD directly into this external docking station. I suppose it either uses eSATA or USB as a connection.

Please correct me if I'm speaking complete BS.
