Ive rock skied a lot, trust me snow doesnt stop you from hitting a rocks goin 50mph, you still feel it. An example would be your first day snowboarding, you know theres rock 2ft below you (or however deep it is) and it hurts falling. Now imagine your falling against sharp rocks. Also thing about how his limbs twist and distort doing all them flips and cartwheels.

I would never try something like this simply because it would honestly make me sh!t myself.

If you've ever jumped into a sharp face or a bowl, you'd know that that's really how it goes. It's all in the landing, and if you screw it up, it's downhill from there (no pun intended.)
