How desparate would you have to be for you to turn to GOD?

I find it unlikely that I'd turn to religion even under hypothetical crushing despair, because I firmly believe them to be fantasy, so they would not help to alleviate the said despair. Although if I were to turn to religion, I'd probably pick Buddhism, not God.

I don't think it's so much as "finding God" as it is "being a coward."

I couldn't bring myself to believe in a deity, nor santa, the easter bunny or the tooth fairy, no matter the circumstances. I do believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster however, I was touched by his noodly appendage.
