how dangerous is a ganglion?

my mom has one near her wrist but says it's not dangerous, I don't believe her.

I believe a ganglion is just a term for a cluster of nerve tissue. In the brain there are a few such clusters and they are called the basal ganglia. So I think that it's just a term for nerve tissue and not necessarily something bad.

Are you Talking about a ganglion cyst? my mom had one, it botherd her so she went to the docter.

The treatment is basicly they hit it very hard and it breaks.

I doubt their is any danger in leaving it, but she said it was annoying.

Had one a while ago.., no danger. Had it drained at my dr's.

Worry not. I had one too... but I was too chicken to have it smacked by the doctors so I just waited until I accidently smacked it myself.

It's just a fluid filled cyst at the end of the ganglion.

I had one on my wrist too...doctor said it would've gotten bigger and would've bothered me...so i got it surgically removed. But i dun think it was dangerous.
