How cynical are you?

I'm very cynical.

ie:
If i won the lottery, the 1st thing i would do is move and list my addr as a PO Box. that way i wont have a ton of people/organizations come begging for $. (yes, my 1st thought is about my privacy and not how i'm going to spend the $.)

Give examples of how cynical you are.

The first thing I thought about when I read this post was "What's cynical mean?". Then I decided to just format your example to fit my screen so I wouldn't come off looking dumb for not knowing what cynical means. (yes, my 1st thought is about the fear of being thought of as dumb and not how i'm going to spend the $.)

Your lottery example isn't cynical, it is a pretty reasonable course of action based on the experiences of other winners IMO.

For me:
I trust everyone (with the exception of about 5 people) only as far as their own interests.

I usually expect the worst to happen in most situations.

Isnt there some statistic like "99% of people who win the lottery die in 5 years" or something?
