How crazy are your roomates?

BD2003

Lifer
Ironically, you would think that having your close friends as roomates would be a good thing, but it has turned to crazyworld around my place as of yet.

One is whipped, whipped beyond belief. 90% of his waking life is spent with his gf, and he's not allowed to associate with us when she is around. But thats about 4 years old news, so at least its not a surprise.

The other one appears to have a secret girlfriend that he is either embarrased about because he probably met her on the internet or something (who knows! I sure dont), or she's somehow related to my ex gf, who AFAIK lives near her. We will be in mid conversation, his phone will ring, and he'll go in his room and slam the door shut. This has been going on for over a year, and he's never mentioned her once, and in fact, goes completely out of his way to make sure that we dont know about her. He even gets love letters from her, and there is no name on the return address, so she's probably in on the secret too.

Man, I so need new roomates. Anyone else living with insanity?

my old roomates the past 3 years were

a drug dealer
body builder
bitchy girl
edit: i had a korean exchange student roomate that ended up learning alot of english and he was cool as hell
mixed in with friends

not a problem since i smoke all the time and workout frequently but they got annoying especially because im a neat freak

so i got my own place now i pay 800/ month for a 1 bedroom

bleh

my roommate (in my dorm) is six years older than me, from south korea, and doesn't speak english very well. but, aside from that, he's actually a really good roommate.

nah, I'm the insane roomate here.

However I do have stories of my roomates.

IE hes going out with this ultra conservative indian over achieving pray before eating christian b!tch. To make a long story short her actions of wanting to go out with my roomate was because she settled for less and my roomate stood for that. Also shes a hypocrite, yea right no sex before marriage. Sometimes I feel like killing her.

The sad thing is I'm more of a christian than she is. Not in faith but in actions.
God I cant stand those holier than thou types, I just want to kill the whole lot of them.

See I told you I was the crazier roomate.

Nah, its definitely a girl. And if it was my ex, I'd recognize her voice. I know her name, she calls our house phone all the time...it doesnt make any sense to me.

If she is even slightly related to my ex in any way, his balls are so coming off.

How Christian-like of you. 😉

I said in actions not faith, I haven't killed them ....yet...

Restraint is what makes me live by the Christian codes.

My roommate is one of my best friends, we've played hockey together for a couple years. Things started taking a turn for the worse tho, he works as a cook and has a ridiculous schedule. His friends from the restaraunt come over and stuff, and I'm nothing like them so that sucks. Plus he is messy and I always have to clean up after him. He pays his share of the rent and hasnt broken any of my stuff yet. So that's good.

I am gonna move out or ask him to when our lease is up in march, after two years of being on my own, I can't handle living with someone so unlike me.

Ahhhh, I feel better after venting a bit.

My roommates are really good except for when we let a certain one buy the "community goods" like toilet paper, detergent, etc. He's beyond frugal. He probably saved $.0.75 by buying toilet paper that, as far as I can tell, is made of tree bark and sand. Imagine, your quality of life destroyed for a couple weeks for the sake of a seventy-five cent savings. They have better TP in jail. ...I've been told, or something.
