Very neat stuff

I guess it'll depend on how they implement it, and the lack of any visible file names kind of bothers me, but the idea is pretty new. Having a 3D environment where you can stack little avatars of files, toss them around, just like your real desktop.

Either way, I agree it's pretty useless at this point, except the whole idea of stacking. Right now my desktop is kinda cluttered with icons, stacking would be nice, although if I have a lot of a similar file I just put them into a folder, which achieves the same thing?

It is very detailed, I don't know if that really could become a desktop in the future. Maybe with more work, but it is very cool.

Neat, but useless and probably a ressource hog. I imagine that + XGL would make things mighty confusing.
