How common is your last name?

11837, I'm amazed it's that common.

Interestingly enough, my mother's maiden name is 34016 on the list, even though my great grandfather made it up when he came to the US (shortened the name from his Greek name). I've never met anyone outside our family that has the name, and our family isn't that big.
 
yah, I was shocked mine was 15,000th or so...it's originally canadian, I didn't know there were that man of my relatives in this country
