i would like to run a system with a good psu reliable not too expensive. i currently have a 300 watt psu from sparkle fsp-300-btv60 is the model. Do i need to upgrade it or should i keep it. I currently have 3 system fans 1 in the front 2 in the back sound card, dvd player, cd-rw, tv tuner, zip and floppy drive but i dont use often at all. and a heatsink and fan. I would like to run a new processor like a barton would this power supply be fine?

Thanks

The HS is likely fine. I would at least try it out. The bartons take less power than many older Athlons. What is your current CPU? If you are planning on a high power graphics card like the Radeon9700 you should probably pick up a bigger PSU though.
