How come this news article is not sensationalized?

Cliffs of the article: Man brought gun to work, put it in his coat which was on a chair and sat down on it. Gun fired and shot him in his legs.

Now my question, how did the news not make a mountain out of a mole? Should the news have read "MAN BRINGS GUN TO WORK, SHOOTS HIMSELF"? This doesn't make any sense.

And notice how they are downplaying the important part? Read this
" McGuire said his department has no record of the man being licensed to carry a concealed weapon."

IMHO the reporter and the writer should be fired for not capitalizing on a golden opportunity to sensationalize.

Furthermore, how can it go off AGAIN? Dont you have to reload it by pushing down that thing with your thumb???

Shot through one leg, through the other, and into a bookcase.
