I bet that happened/happens quite a bit.. It's easy to get them mixed up, especially if they don't have the sticker on them.Originally posted by: notfred
Once, a long time ago, I paid for a 32mb stick of ram, and they gave me a 64. That was cool.

Am i the only guy that would have returned it (and i have a criminal record as well)? That guy will no doubt get fired for a mistake on his first day, and the person more or less stole that money out of somebody elses pockets. PC hardware profits by a very small margin, so losing that many sticks is losing a lot of money.

I got a $39.99 table for $9.99 once. Went to Office Depot, got one of those foldable card tables. Price maked was $39.99. I go to the checkout counter with the ticket, it rings up 9.99. I casually ask if that is the right price. The cashier with a "I don't give a shiat" attitude told me "yes". I walked out happily!

Don't even get me started about getting lucky. I once scored a $1000 speaker for only $450. Yep, guy over bought and didn't want to return them. Mighty good deal. I still laugh at that sucker.
