How come this is takeing so long?

so i bought wow and just the CD instalation is past 1hr. is there something wrong with my pc? or does this game really take this long?

4200 X2
2 gigs of ram

I dunno... maybe the CD wasn't replicated properly... maybe reboot & try again, or try on a different machine?
