As has been mentioned, Pork & Beans usually has only a small cube of pork fat as its pork content.
WHY it's not called "Beans & Pork Fat" I don't know...ought to be something in the "Truth in Advertising" laws about that...

Yeah, if you microwave the pork and beans, it melts into the thing and gives it a different taste. Not very significant though.
