how come there are barely any servers when I try Multiplayer for QUake III Arena?

I click on Multiplayer and theres barely any servers, theres ONLY 12 servers on Internet, but not in the other categoreis.
 
Get gamespy (www.gamespy.com). MUCH better way to find servers than the internal server browser that Q3 uses. There are hundreds of servers on GS. Make sure you go ahead and get the 1.27 patch for Q3A tho, nearly all servers are using this now..

Something must be wrong with your Quake ... or your internet connection ... may be for all others servers pings are too big or not coming back ... because I have like 200-700 servers in there each time ... on DSL.
