How come no one has the ATI 5890 top of line ?

Ive been surfing here and reading, No one mentions this card.

They do mention 5870 or 5750 or whatever but not their flagship card with 1500 stream pipeline shaders..


nVidia Fermi will have 512 shaders to give you a idea..

No one mentions the 6878909880 PRO either, I heard it has 5 million stream pipeline shader core unit module processors. To give you an idea, the 76876876870 has 3.5 shaders.

I think nvidia is in deep trouble.

They first said the Fermi has 512 shaders. Soo well stick to that until otherwise notified.

The ATI 5890 has 1500 shaders. That is 3 times more shader. What does nvidia have to say about this. I think nvidia blew it!

Sweet! I'm glad they dropped DisplayPort in favor of the old D-sub standard. Not having to buy the $100 DP adapter will certainly bring down the cost of an Eyefinity setup. 🙂
