How come most stocks are up but V is down?

Or maybe it doesn't affect Visa as much. I didn't buy much of V but I'm interested to know why the stock is taking more hits than rising high.

my only thought is that the stock hasnt stabilized yet and not following normal market trend. There is still lots of hype surrounding V and lots of people day trading with it. Also all banks that got in at IPO are cashing in partly for profits.

their stock was priced at $44 (?) but it's trading at over $60 currently, it's already a 33% run-up. if anything should happen, they should drop down to around $44 first, then the market will decide its true direction after its first earning and forecast.

visa has nothing to do with the credit crisis as they do not lend money

V is a good long term stock, but it will not pop in the current market because investors have mixed feelings (mostly bearish) with financial stocks and are putting their money in other markets (commodities, energy)
