How come everyone hates McDonalds?

McD's is OK. It's not great, it's not the worst thing out there. Big Macs taste like trash, but I used to live right across McD's. It was an easy breakfast stop. I also loved their $1 nuggets deals. I would get like 16 - 20 nuggets and munch on those.

Now, as a native Californian, I'll admit In-n-Out BLOWS McD's away. It's like Porsche vs. Econobox.

So I'll go to In-n-Out over McD's if they were next to each other, but McD's isn't too bad for a quick snack like a McFlurry or some other crap. That said, I CANNOT stand their Big Macs. Those do NOT compare to Double Doubles.

I was comparing a QP, not a BM to a DD for nutitional info only. Showing someone that a DD has a higher % of fat per calorie, even without the spread, than a QP. That was the only point in the comparison.

You realize how anal retentive you're coming off, don't you....

Fast food restaurants are proof that the human race is getting more and more lazy, but not only lazy, but more and more busy. We have less time, more work, and less energy, so we make our own meals less, and pick fast food over going out with family or cooking, because it's faster and more convenient. Instead of going out of the car in -35 degree weather you can just open your window and ask for a super sized double cheese burger combo and have it in 5 minutes (or 30, when they have noob staff that are super slow. 😛) then head home. Though I must say most fast foods including McDonald's I enjoy, and I find myself eating that stuff too often. Obesity and bad health is a big problem these days because of this.

It's also sad to think of all the creatures being inhumanly handled and slaughtered for our food. Well part of our food, since I don't think those patties are 100% meat... 😛
