I know the op knows he's not seriously saying that every Natalie on Earth is hot, but I in a way can understand his point.
I think part of it is a demographic issue and part of it is a social perception issue.
Demographic issue: In some poorer demographics some names are more popular than others, which can cause people of certain names to look a certain way either through genes or the financial inability to clothe themselves attractively.
Social perception: If a couple who is less attractive believe that a certain name only pertains to attractive people they may less apt to naming their child that name due to an adolescence of feeling left out by those who are attractive to happen to have those "attractive names" (bitterness towards attractive names) so in a way this does make certain people with certain names more likely to be attractive.
