I recently bought one of those thermal guns, and having a lot of fun testing different things with it, and also tormenting the cat with it's laser. She gets so frustrated because she can't catch it. Poor thing lol. :D

Tested the cold water at about 0.9C It was hovering around 2-3 for a while then suddenly dropped. Did not realize it actually got that low.

Hot water is around 54C.

Just curious as to what everyone else gets if they have a way of measuring. :p

Want to see if someone can beat me. Let's see some negative numbers! :D Of course, that would mean the pipes are very prone to freeze if water is not run often enough.

I don't think we've ever had a "connection." AFAIK, I've never opened up to you...(or anyone else for that matter):frown:

But yes...if it makes you feel better, she's cremated...her box is in the same box as my grandfather's box...:sneaky:

one of these days...I have to take them out and spread them around...

We did that with my grandma's ash's, took her out on my uncles boat to her favorite part of the bay and spread the ash's.

To the OP my tap water at work is 6c right now after running for 5 min, started off at 11c.

.9 is really cold. It must not have been turned on for awhile and brought in water that was in your pipe. heck even 3-4c is pretty cold

6c sounds about right

as does 54c for hot

Ground temperature is constant pending depth. And, believe most local service pipping are set at a certain depth to prevent frost freeze, and unusual temperature drops. Hence, if you run your water for a while it shouldn't be much below 3~4C, unless your water line to your house or house water line are dangerously close/expose to the outside ambient temperature.
