Nothing like walking from the parking structure to work (2-3 minute walk) and having your eyes watering so bad from the cold wind and having your eye lashes freeze shut :D

It's 8 in Holland, MI but winds are gusting to 50 which puts the wind chill at -17. I was going to walk to work until I went outside and saw the 18" drift that spontaneously appeared overnight outside my door. I drove instead. :) It dropped from about 45 degrees yesterday. The list of closings in the area is 13 pages long at 10-pt font.

They were saying on television that the windchill factor in Winnipeg is -52C today while they interviewed some joggers who said it's not that bad once you get going. In Ottawa it's 4C and raining a little right now.

We're back into a rainy cycle, so it's 42F here this morning, heading for about 55 with a chance of showers. Should be the same for the next several days.

It reached 27º overnight, but it's rebounded 4º by now.

Topped out at 75º yesterday. What a huge temp swing. Almost a 50º range.

It went from 50s yesterday evening to -10 windchill now. Stupid midwest weather. We had wind over 70 mph last night at points, most gusts where apparently around 50 mph though.

-6° right now. Feels like a balmy -32°

We had this blizzard warning starting last afternoon. It was pretty messed up last night before I went to bed, so I figured maybe school would be cancelled but I don't remember it ever being cancelled before as tons of snow and cold is the norm here. So I get up for my 10am, can't see out my window cause it's all iced up, go downstairs and can't see out those windows, open front door, there's a 18" drift right up against the door (some of it dropped in). No way I was gonna walk 20 minutes in that just for one 50 minutes class. So I went back to sleep for a few hours... checked my email and school was cancelled anyway!

I might go try and clean the drift away from my door and take a few pictures... if it really sucks out there, I think I'll break my no smoking indoors thing and just fucking puff a few down in here.

It hit -35F last night.... with no wind. I'd take this over a warmer windy area any day.

45 but feel like 39.

It was freaking windy yesterday. One of the flags outside got torn off. From 70 down to low 30s within a few hours.
