How can you tell if you have USB 2.0?

I don't have any devices to test it with and I want to make sure my front case points are 2.0, so they're good for future use.

I want to plug in the connector to my MB (Intel D845PEBT2), But I want to make sure I have the right connection before I take the chance. On the schematics all the wires line up except that when it comes to the two red wires, number one lines up with zero and zero to number one on the other red wire. Is this ok? Both reds are for power and they both line up to the power pins on the MB, but the red one with the triangle goes to pin zero on the board instead of number one.

Is it safe? And will it work properly?

Thanks!

Re: the power wires: You should be fine. As long as it's not a ground connected to a power or anything.

I bet those front ports will do USB 2.0.

An option also would be to find the case manufacturer's website and look there. They should let you know if the front USB ports are USB 2.0 capable.
