How Can You Tell if a PM has been read & if a member is logged on. I'm having a slight problem with a sale & I sent the seller a PM earlier today.

You can look at the profile for the timestamp - It should be accurate within 15 minutes

There is no way to determine if the PMs have been read.

If you have a problem with a trader here at AT, PM the Mods with details. They may be able to goose the seller into responding

click on their avatar to see when they last logged in

You can't tell if a specific PM has been read. All you can really do is see the time the individual was last logged in by viewing the member's profile and compare that to the time that you sent the PM.

ask them a question . . . if they don't reply then there is a problem.

Finally, make SURE you have a buyer/seller's email address or secondary cotact info . . . do NOT solely depend on PMs for any important transactions

Also, if you add the person to your buddies list, you can quickly see if they're logged into AT or not.
