How can you tell if a girl has herpes before you kiss her? (that is without having to ask her)

<< there's no way to find out is there?

*sigh*
>>

Yes.

Any woman that would kiss you obviously has herpes.

😉

Unless there's an open sore (ie - a breakout), she shouldn't be contagious. Isn't that right? But yeah, why do you suspect?

lol AmusedOne. 🙂

Fuzzmuncher, glad you are. 🙂

I still wanna know how to find out!!

divinematyr - I dunno...I'm weary of any sexually active girl that walks.

hpkeeper - yes.

ggavinmoss - ummm, if you are not sure, then I'm not taking chances.

Doggiedog - So you want me to tell her this: 'Sweetie, can I look down your pants and feel the insides to see if I want to kiss you?'

QUOTE: Genital herpes is an infection caused by the herpes simplex virus or HSV. There are two types of HSV, and both can cause genital herpes. HSV type 1 most commonly infects the lips causing sores known as fever blisters or cold sores, but it also can infect the genital area and produce sores there. HSV type 2 is the usual cause of genital herpes, but it also can infect the mouth during oral sex. A person who has genital herpes infection can easily pass or transmit the virus to an uninfected person during sex.

Both HSV 1 and 2 can produce sores (also called lesions) in and around the vaginal area, on the penis, around the anal opening, and on the buttocks or thighs. Occasionally, sores also appear on other parts of the body where the virus has entered through broken skin :ENDQUOTE

<< LordKimbot, ok, but that involves me looking at her coochie...I can't do that, yet. >>

Just don't let her kiss Mr. Johnson. sadly 🙁

If you've ever had a cold sore in your mouth, that is a form of herpes. Maybe she should be afraid of you. A person with herpes does not always show signs, and herpes is incurable. A person can also pass herpes without showing signs of herpes. In the big picture of things, herpes is not the worst STD to get, I'd be more afraid of other STDs like syphillis (sp?), crabs, etc.

She has no reason to be afraid of me. 😉

crabs is an STD? I don't think thats right.

dude if you have to ask DON'T KISS HER.

I make it my policy not to kiss anyone with disgusting mouth sores. You should do the same.

This is what freaks me out -- "Human papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the most common causes of sexually transmitted disease (STD) in the world. Health experts estimate that there are more cases of genital HPV infection than of any other STD in the United States. According to the American Social Health Association, approximately 5.5 million new cases of sexually transmitted HPV infections are reported every year. At least 20 million Americans are already infected." Warts!

<<is one of the most common causes of sexually transmitted disease>>

Do you mean the most common cases, because it is an STD🙂
