does it work?
does it really matter unless it doesnt work?
Are the chinese/manderin subtitles enabled as default? Thats how you can tell people selling DVDs on ebay are selling pirate versions, the description usually says "english audio with chinese/manderin subtitles (can be turned off)".

On the inner rims of the DVD, is there a rainbow colored inscription of authenticity? usually the name of the distributer.
The ones for $10 from Malaysia are NOT legit.
You also realise that he is making a killing off you?

Looks like a copy then.
No hologram.
Dolby 5.1 is the only English option for audio.
The label on the DVD case is pretty good, BUT! The title on the edge? It's upside down in relation to the cover graphics! LOL!![]()

It sounds great and the video is up to par, but I've not got the time to watch it yet...
The seller advertised it as a 'Dual Layer DVD' claiming better quality.

The really poor counterfeits are the ones that just look like cam jobs or something. If it appears to be DVD quality both audio and video, then check the hologram. The chances of getting a legit DVD from Asia is next to none, though. Especially one encoded for Region 1You're not even supposed to be playing any other region
