How can you recieve AOL mail in MS Outlook?

I'm trying to set my Dad up with checking his AOL mail through MS Outlook because he likes using Outlook for his other email addresses and for the calender. Hewould like to get rid of AOL, itself.

Zim, you are a life saver! To anyone who may be thinking "What the hell? Triple post?!?!?!" I had a small problem with FireFox! Sorry! To someone that replied to the other thread, he doesn't pay for AOL 😉. It's just an email he uses for friends/family.

That like says that you can only check it with Outlook 2002 and 2003, but just for the heck of it, I checked it with OE6 and BINGO... right on through. I don't see why you couldn't use it with ANY email client that supports imap and smtp authentication.
