yes, they are available. Easiest way to get them is goto www.goldenhawk.com then to their downloads section and you will find what you are looking for.

When initally installing off the bootdisks or bootable CD-ROM, start pressing F5 when it says something about analyzing the system's configuration.. a window will come up a in few seconds with several system configurations. Standard PC being one without ACPI..

i think he was talking about aSpi, not aCpi. if you search for forceaspi on the internet you might be able to find it laying around. it tricks the adaptec aspi updater into installing.
