How can you clear the history in Internet Explorer?

You know, where you type in a url, and it pulls up a list of past-visited sites that match what you've typed thus far? Clearing autocomplete didn't do it. This information has to be stored somewhere....

Thanks!

I have found, that generally every guy I know knows exactly how to clear the history, while almost every girl I know doesn't even know you can clear your history.

I wonder why that is?

hmmmm.....

What? I clear my cache/cookies/history on a regular basis. But it ain't because of porn. I like a clean running machine, and I'm almost anal about it now.

LMAO.

Here's how to get rid of your history (in 2000/XP) so companies can't spy where you've been ;P

1. Documents and Settings
2. You login directory
3. Local Settings (if its hidden, type it in the url box and press enter)
4. History
5. They will have histories: Today, Yesterday, the day before that, etc.
6. Delete only the incriminating ones so as not to make it look suspicious... to the companies I mean. ;P

Click on the history button, right click and delete couple of times if you want to get it out perm. Sometimes (read: most of the time), using the clear history feature does not remove all the sites from history. Also, use tweakUI to clear computer history. "My recent documents" have most of the files you recently opened (*cough* Porn *cough) under the start menu. ;)
