I got a message on my door this morning stating my whole development's cable will be out the whole day on Thurs.
I'm wondering how they can do this when they offer not only TV, but phone and data services as well? The phone company would never do something like this.
Call up and ask for credit back. I did this when my cable modem was out for a few days a few months ago, and they credited me (rather my parents) for the days it was out.
I'm thinking this must not instill faith in the cable company.
In today's day and age you must have reliable service- the phone being out the whole day is inexcusable, let alone internet. To only give 2 days notice isn't great either.
But no phone. I need the phone, I work from home. They pushed the phone service as being just as reliable as the locals, and it really hasn't been. I might have to switch back.
