How can people of the female persuasion fail to notice that every Cleo is almost identical content-wise

Sure, the cover changes, and the move the stories around, and there's (usually) a different brain dead celebrity on the front, but the content doesn't change otherwise

I assume releasing the same one each week would be too obvious, so they're clever, they have two copies, and they release them alternately...

I've just continued this train of thought...so called 'Lad's mags' are just as bad, there's probably three discrete copies worth of information in the entirety of the history of FHM I swear, you read a copy from say the mid 90s, then a copy from today, and nothing has really changed, they still run the same awful jokes, review pot noodles, and offer exactly the same 'sex tips', the only things that have changed are the adverts, the price, and the models

Agreed - always seems the same thing. Women's magazines always have the same things:
Fashion, sex advice, how to look like the models in the magazines, articles saying how it's wrong for magazines to want people to look like the models in the magazines, etc etc.

Men's magazines:
Ways to stay in shape, easy ways to make lots of money, sex advice, clothing ads, and so on. Same crap every month.
