how can i view the independant frames of a realplayer movie?

i want to view each frame on some movies i have(need to cut some pictures for a school project) one of the movies is a realplayer movie, the other is an mpeg. how can i do this?

You can play a movie frame by frame in realplayer by using the right/left arrow keys. Right forward, left reverse.

Not sure if that's what you wanted or not.

i need to be able to select and cut/copy the image(don't want the whole frame) from the movie. would photoshop be able to do that for either?(i'd try it but i'm at school and don't have photoshop here )

Pause the realplayer where you want, hit the print screen button. Then go into Paint, paste, crop, and save. I know Brute force and ignorant way, but you would be surprised how many times it can help you.
