I just installed Windows XP Pro using VMWare Fusion.

It shows up fine in user account it was installed into, but when I open VMWare Fusion in other user accounts, no virtual machine shows up.

How can I enable the same copy of XP Pro to be used by other users on same iMac using VMWare Fusion?

VMWare Server has an option to make VM's "private" which I believe just sets the rights on the files for you, not sure about Fusion. Have you tried just opening and browsing for the VM under the other user?

I shut down Windows, then quit Fusion in my own user account.

When I logged into another account, virtual machine now showed up.

Anyway two users can use same copy of XP Pro on same machine in different OS X user accounts, or does one user have to completely shut down Windows and VMWare Fusion for another user to use it?

AFAIK you can only run one VM once. If it was a Windows Server VM you could setup TS and both rdp into it but running two copies of the VM won't work.
