How can I use my laptop as a monitor for my desktop PC?

I canno't afford to buy an LCD monitor right now and the desk in my college room is more like a very short shelf, and I won't be able to fit my 17" regular monitor there. So I was wondering if it's possible to use my Toshiba 5005-S504 laptop as a monitor for my PC. My video card is a Geforce FX 5600 which I believe has s-video out. Does anyone know?

Highly unlikely. You'd have to have some sort of video-in on the laptop, not S-Out.

Edit: Well, actually you might be able to use the main as a screen-less box, and run like Remote Desktop Connection or something... Probably more trouble than its worth though...

Edit 2: Remote Access Download Links

Thanks. I'll probably end up just using my 15" monitor. Youre right, it's too much work to be worth it, plus my laptop is very slow so I'd hate using it again.
