how can i update my sony notebook display driver

Hi,

i have a VPCCW16FG sony vaio notebook.
The notebook has a Geforce GT 230M display card.
However i can't download the driver from nvidia directly and install it.
I have a Win 7 64bit home premium.

Where can i find a driver to update it?

Graphical card is integrated. Is part of the system... You shoud download driver from sony not nvidia.

The problem with downloading a driver from sony is that if he has changed his OS, say from vista to 7, they won't have a driver for him. Its programmed in that if it isn't EXACLTY right, it wont work.

very lucky i am still using the same OS my notebook comes with.
So it is still a Win7 Home basic 64bit.

Looks like the nvidia stock drivers are not for the Vaio series.

Is there something wrong with your laptop where you want to update the drivers?

I say just try the drivers off of nvidias site. Despite being integrated it still uses the same drivers as all the other mobile cards and is on the supported list. Even though it says sony vaios aren't supported its probably just some marketing bs.
