my printer just will not work not matter what i try...
i have an hp laserjet6l

everyitme it prints, it prints blurred, jumbled, on different pages, etc.

i tried deleting drivers reinstalling, updating, etc.

nothing works

is there a way i can totally remove it completely and start from scratch and see if that works?

My printer, OfficeJet G55, had uninstallation software from the HP site, but not sure about yours and I'm not sure if the uninstallation software completely cleaned it out. Reformatting will clean out the drivers, along with your whole system.

throw it out the window 😉...i'm assuming you've tried installing/uninstall the software suite/drives in the add remove control panel (?)...have you tried deleting the printer? go to printers in the control panel, hit delete, and select ok when it ask you to confirm....if that doesnt work u can always reformat!

u know what the weird thing is?

i tried another printer of the exact same model and had the same problem, so its my computer not the printer

Try different drivers. Its a driver issue. Try truncating the a few letters off the end and using a more generic driver, like hp laserjet 6 rather than laserjet6l.

I've had a lotta experience troubleshooting drivers b/c of having to use about 200 different printers from my laptop at client sites. Usually that did the trick.

for my lexmark 1100 in winxp...if you right click on the printer, select properties, and then cartridge maintenance tab there is a clean nozzle and alignment option
