The last time I built a computer was 4 years ago and I bought Window's XP to put on it. Now I'm finally building a new PC and I can't remember what kind of XP software I bought.

I have the disks and the license, but didn't save any packaging it might have come in.

The disks just say Window's XP on them, but it also says "Not for resale or OEM distribution". So maybe its an upgrade version?

I ask because if its an OEM version I can't install it on a new PC once I've already registered it once on a different system. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Just trying to save $100 on buying a new OS, and not really interested in going to Vista quite yet.

Thanks for any replies,

Dave

Is the sticker with the CD key yellow with black lettering? If it is, that's how every retail version I've ever seen is.
