how can I tell if RAM is bufferred or unbufferred?

I have a stick of 256 pc100 ram that I want to sell but I don't know if it is bufferred or unbufferred. How can I tell?

If it will fit in a reg motherboard that supports std. 3.3V Sdram then it is non-buffered ram (the locating notches on buffered ram are not the same as non-buffered ram). Also buffered ram is 5.0V stuff and is mainly used in Mac`s (and some server setups too...)
