short/sweet/stupid: can i use an XFX GeForce 6600 GT (DDR3) video card with a
Gigabyte K8NF-9 motherboard?

if so, or if not, how can i tell?

i can see that the board has the nVidia nForce4-4X chipset, but i can't find any technical info on the video card.

thank you for any pointers.

The vid card mem speed is irrelevant re: compatibility. If that 6600gt is pci-E you're good to go. If it's AGP, no dice.

here are the specs on that mb.
