How can I tell if my hard drive is still under warranty?

I have a Fujitsu drive that died and I wana know if it can be RMA'ed. How can I check?

Or see if Fujitsu has a serial # check on their site.

I did check and this is what it said "Tracking Number - 24863 Global OEM part must be returned through an authorzied return channel unless not sold to a Global OEM customer "

Then you're likely f'd. Who'd you buy the drive from?

Yep, call them...they probably have some sort of relationship with Fujitsu. If you have your CC statement they can probably look it up by that.

I mean should I call up Fujitsu and talk to them about it. I bought it off just some random guy on ebay, and paid with a money order....

Call Fuji and give them the serial number. Will take 5 minuites + hold time.

Most manufacturers do not care who you bought it from, just the fact that it is (or is not) under the warranty period.
