How can I tell if my AGP is working properly (Using NVMax)

System Specs:
Win 98 SE
FIC 503+ (VIA MVP3)
AMD k6-2+ 450 @ 500
256mb Ram PC100
NVIDIA TNT2 M64 (Powercolor)
SiSoft Sandra 2001, Norton Utilities 2001, and NVMax Installed

I can turn on AGP mode at 1x, 2x, and 4x with NVMax. How can I check to make sure it is actually activating my AGP? I have AGP disabled in the bios, but NVmax seems to be able to activate it by using the registry or software. Is this true????

Thanks,
Eric

btw: I used NVmax to disable sidebanding because opengl was crashing with it enabled. Opengl works great now! This seems to be a common problem since I searched the web for hours looking for a solution.
