How can I tell if I got a prism 3 or prism 2.5 chipset

Hay,
I read at seattlewireless that the prism 3 is less sensetive then the previos prism 2.5.
I am looking to buy a SanDisk ConnectPlus of ebay. I read that some units had the prism 2.5 while other have the 3. how may I tell them apart?
