How can i tell if a computer has USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 ?

I think it should say in device manager, if it's a store bought copmnuter, it is most likly USB 1.1, they will probabily make a big deal if it has USB2, if it's a year or older, and hasnt been upgraded with a USB2 card, it will not have USB2. You could also try a USB2 only device with it, and see if it works.

wetcat007 i saw usb in device manager but it does not say if its usb 1.1 or usb 2.0. I don't have any usb 2.0 devices. Is yhere any program to find out by?

USB 2.0 interfaces will mention "EHCI" or "Enhanced Host Controller"
USB 1.1 interfaces will mention "OHCI", "UHCI", "Open Host Controller" or "Universal Host Controller"
