How can I teach people Java?

So I'm taking CS2 (i.e., APCS) at my school. I've pretty much already tested out of it and I'm only taking it because... well I have no idea. I'm the only one in there that is actually passing (I have a 100, the other 5 people are all failing with grades 20-high sixties). Our teacher, while being a wonderful person, doesn't really teach quite as well as they would like, and he become attached to powerpoints (what useless peices of sh1t). Any ideas on how I could help them learn?

The reason they're failing is because they had no intention of being in the class in the first place. They were placed in this class, and it is their weak point. If I really felt that way about them, why would I bother trying to help them?

The useless peices of sh!t comment was in fact directed at the power point presentations. That's the only way we're tought in the class obviously it's not very effective.

I"ve taken a Java programming class in College and the prof used Powerpoint. I learned java fine in that class. So if your teacher is soley relying on the PP to get the info across then maybe its the teachers fault for not doing a good job. My prof had handouts that accompianed the PP along with examples on the board to illustrate concepts that were discussed in the Power Point.

I for one hate programming, but was required to take Java and I did fine with an instructor who uses power point.

If you feel bad for the other kids get them Java book for Dummies or some other type of book that Teaches you java in 21 days or something.
