how can I take a screen shot?

I don't remember how to do this...printscreen takes the whole desktop windows... I want to capture just one active application window ...it is "crtl + something"

please shows me.

1. Push the PrintScrn button.
2. Go to your favorite graphics proggy or MS Paint.
2. On the toolbar, Edit->Paste.
4. Presto!

Oopsie...the topic "screenshot" was different from "capturing an application" in the text. Coin can make the determination. Otherwise, SnagIt looks good.

Actually DAM, Danlz was almost correct he only left out one part.
After clicking the "active" window to make sure it is "active" press ALT then PRINTSCREEN you will only capture the "active" window. Then paste this into any graphics program or just use MS paint.
