How can I swap P&S dvds for Widescreen versions?

Over the past couple of years, I've received Pan & Scan DVDs rather than the widescreen versions. It's too late to return them, some I don't even know where they came from. I still want the movies; I just want the widescreen versions instead. Is there some place or some way I can trade or exchange things for the version I want?

I was looking at peerflix.com, but it sucks that it only trades the discs, and not the whole dvd case. I don't want to be stuck with the original case, etc. Is there anything out there better than going with ebay or half.com or something?

sell them, and buy some used ws versions.

Unless you find someone who really wants the fullscreen versions, you're going to have to pay to get the widescreen versions as you have the inferior product.

That peerflix option might be the best choice for you - it's just a cover, I'd try to not worry about it.

Some are still sealed...I think one I opened up and started watching it before realizing what it was grrr........

Yeah, maybe I'll look into the Peerflix thing more. Bah, who wants to buy P&S versions?!?

If they are still sealed then take them to walmart, if they sell that DVD they will give you a store credit or gift card or whatever.

if they are still sealed just about any place will let you exchange them for the WS version. just tell them you bought the wrong version by accident

rent the WS version from blockbuster/netflix and switch it out... but that would be very very wrong.. ..... .......
