How can i stop the Google Toolbar from auto updating?

How can i stop the Google Toolbar from auto updating?

There doesnt seem to be an option for this.

I hear ya ty1er, I dont like the new version either. After messing around with it for a bit, this seems to have worked: Deny everything WRITE access to the entire %PROGRAM FILES%\Google folder. I did that a couple weeks ago and it hasnt updated yet.

I tried just denying access to the .dll but its sneaky and just created a second dll! Denying to the entire directory seems to have worked...hopefully.
